Destination 1:
Clue 1: Feels like were at the beach but there’s no water.
Clue 2: Bring a giant sand pail and your ATV to enjoy this place.
Clue 3: We’re not so “little”; after all, some of our best assets are 75 feet tall.
Clue 4: Riding the dunes here is the main attraction
Clue 5: On your way to or from this park, check out the unique Glass Mountains.
Clue 6: These were created over 11,000 years ago.
Destination 2:
Clue 1: Everyone loves a rodeo!
Clue 2: Even though we’re located in an urban area, don’t call us “Urban Cowboy.”
Clue 3: Dress up in our Kids Corral.
Clue 4: Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and many famous people can be seen here.
Clue 5: Be inspired by the beautiful Western art here.
Clue 6: Cowboys, Native Americans, Cowboy actors, an old Western town, rodeo history....all under one roof.
Destination 3:
Clue 1: Boating, hiking, biking, camping....all close to OKC.
Clue 2: Home to the third largest university in the state, AND the oldest schoolhouse.
Clue 3: Check out our museum in a former Oklahoma National Guard building.
Clue 4: One of the main attractions here features water but it’s relatively new.
Clue 5: This city has the highest point in Oklahoma County and was formerly known as Summit.
Clue 6: In January, you’ll want to bundle up and watch the eagles fly here.
Destination 4:
Clue 1: One of the best loved in the country.
Clue 2: Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!
Clue 3: Walk along the Oklahoma Trail and see the variety of animals in our state.
Clue 4: You can view the exhibits here from the air or ride the new Centennial Train.
Clue 5: Feed the birds...right from your hand!
Clue 6: Everyone likes to watch the gorillas in the mist.
Destination 5:
Clue 1: Many cultures can be explored here.
Clue 2: The main activity here is a tour of the seven replicas of Indian villages.
Clue 3: One of the largest American Indian Museums
Clue 4: Buffalo, Fallow Deer, and Wild Turkey can be seen on our 140 acre pasture.
Clue 5: To find us, go east of OKC on I40 then go south on Highway 281.
Clue 6: This museum houses the most extensive display of Indian artifacts in the Southwest.
Destination 6:
Clue 1: Exploring space is all in a day’s work here.
Clue 2: You don’t have to travel through space to find us; just go west of OKC on I40.
Clue 3: Home to one of NASA’s first astronauts.
Clue 4: Named after one of the first space travelers who grew up here.
Clue 5: See replicas of the Spirit of St. Louis and the Wright Flyer.
Clue 6: There is plenty of air and space here.
Destination 7:
Clue 1: This famous landmark can be found in Northeast Oklahoma.
Clue 2: You can tour this beautiful building then spend the night here.
Clue 3: The architect of this building also designed the famous Fallingwater.
Clue 4: The building is a work of art, but don’t miss the art found inside, too.
Clue 5: Another Oklahoma landmark that was funded by a oil industry tycoon.
Clue 6: This destination is found in a city located north of Tulsa.
Destination 8:
Clue 1: One of the Five Civilized Tribes is featured here.
Clue 2: Find me in Green Country.
Clue 3: Your entire family will enjoy a walk through this village of living history.
Clue 4: Can you really make a canoe from a tree? You’ll see one here!
Clue 5: See unique demonstrations of ancient crafts here, including flint knapping and basket making.
Clue 6: Many of the people who originally lived in this area came from the Southeast part of the US along the Trail of Tears.
Destination 9:
Clue 1: The cool water is beautiful but at times, you may need to hold your nose.
Clue 2: Night hike, anyone?
Clue 3: In 1902, 640 acres of this tribal land was sold to the US government..
Clue 4: Bring your fishing pole. The spring fed lake here is home to White bass, largemouth bass, crappie, and many other species.
Clue 5: Bring your bathing suit!
Clue 6: I’m named for one of the five Civilized Tribes.
Destination 10:
Clue 1: These dinosaurs are found in Southeast Oklahoma.
Clue 2: Caddo and Choctaw history is explored at this museum.
Clue 3: The dividing river between Oklahoma and Texas is a part of my name.
Clue 4: We have programs for kids called “Paleo Pals” and others.
Clue 5: The most complete skeleton of this large animal was found right here in McCurtain County!
Clue 6: Have a curious artifact of your own? Bring it to our “Ask an Archaeologist” day.
Clue 7: In addition to thousands of artifacts, check out the fine art!
Destination 11:
Clue 1: One of the most famous parks in Oklahoma.
Clue 2: Sliding down the rocks into the water is a favorite activity here.
Clue 3: Check out the largest waterfall in Oklahoma!
Clue 4: Explore our “rock castle” and our many caves.
Clue 5: This attraction is located in the Arbuckle Mountains.
Clue 6: Swimming, camping, hiking, exploring.... You’ll have more fun here than you can imagine! And it’s all located just a 90 minute drive from OKC.
Destination 12:
Clue 1: You’ll enjoy a hands on experience with the animals here.
Clue 2: A clue to the name: Over the ___ and through the woods....
Clue 3: Located on 60 acres near Lake Thunderbird.
Clue 4: You might think this place is “little,” but more than 400 animals live here.
Clue 5: Kids can be a junior zookeeper here.
Clue 6: Here you can even pet a porcupine.
